Screen trains and employs individuals in the art of screen-printing.

The program employs individuals who:
  • Have fine attention to detail
  • Enjoy creative expression
  • Enjoy learning new skills
  • Work well in a production setting
Screen-printers learn how to burn & rinse screens, set up presses, and transfer custom designs and images. They print on clothing, bags, cards, and pillows, which are sold at New Seasons, the Alberta Co-Op, The Cherry Idea Company, and at Port City.

Developing communication, teamwork, and other cooperative work skills are key components of the program. Participants learn meaningful work skills within a team setting while earning wages and developing skills for community use.
