The Enrichment Center (EC) provides a supported activity and recreation environment for people with high care and medical needs.

To improve motor skills, independence and creativity, participants engage in art activities, sewing projects, adaptive yoga, gardening, music and community outings.

Community friendships provide vital social outlets for program participants. Games, neighborhood outings, and other relationship-building activities enhance social development as participants work and create together.

Participants also engage in community building and collaboration via volunteering at local nonprofits.

The EC occupies two rooms in Port City with direct access to the ADA accessible flower and vegetable garden where participants tend to plants in wheelchair accessible planters. Sewing machines in the EC are modified to accommodate various skill levels and physical abilities.

Participants have an opportunity to sell their work in the Port City store and gallery.
