Monday through Friday, nearly 200 artists, farmers, woodworkers, screen-printers, and community members converge on Port City to participate in the center's innovative personal development programs.

Port City, a program of Albertina Kerr, provides the environment and training that strengthens the self-sufficiency of adults with disabilities. Port City's model of engagement and recreation for people with disabilities is based on mutual respect and choice.

There are four distinct areas that participants can engage with, depending on what they prefer.

Four departments (ScreenProject GrowThe Enrichment Center and The Wood Studio) provide opportunities to socialize and participate in a variety of activities in the community.
